Sharron Kraus is an English singer, musician and songwriter born in New York but grew up in Leicester, England. She creates music that draws on the folk traditions of both England and Appalachia. A frequent collaborator, she created The Black Dove with Christian Kiefer, and the Leaves From Off The Tree trio with Meg Baird and Helena Espvall. She has also collaborated with Jonathan Marshall as the Feather Gatherers, with Tara Burke as Tau Emerald, and with Gillian Chadwick as Rusalnaia.
