Shawn Lov's "Wired! EP" was released on Mp3.com in fall of 1999 quickly as a result of popular demand. Because of the success of "The G.O.D." LP, produced by Tony D, and released in 1998, fans of the project were demanding more songs. Instead of waiting for the funds, or resources to record another studio album, Shawn Lov recorded "Wired!" with a microphone, an AKAI MPC 60 II, a DAT machine, and a lot of coffee. No recording programs, no punch-ins, no second takes, no ad-libs, just 1 take verses straight into a DAT machine.
