Band, DE
Rock
Founded 1992 in Germany, followed by "Frank Out!" and in 2011 "The Grandsheiks". They cover Frank Zappa/Mothers of Invention stuff in a very impressive way. Their music is a tribute not only to the work of Frank Zappa, their live shows are inspired by the very special "sense of humour" that The Mothers of Invention & Zappa brought into rock music. 1992 lineup: Andy Mertens (bass), Stephan Werthes (sax, vocals), Jürgen Nick (drums), Fips Schneiss (guitar, vocals), Kai Rotfuchs (guitar, vocals), Thomas Jung (keyboard, vocals), Harry Noll (vocals)
