Sheikh Muhammad Sadiq (Urdu: شیخ محمد صادق‎) is a Pakistani lyricist and poet who has written more than 35,000 songs including Punjabi, Urdu, Hindi songs. He is often called Father of modern Punjabi poetry. He is famous not only in Pakistan and India but also all over the world. His poetry is sung by famous singers most notably by Legend Ustaad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
