Shoot! Dispute were a Guildford based pop-funk 5 piece formed by former Vapors bassist Steve Smith. After 2 John Peel Radio One sessions in 1984 and a few gigs supporting local hero The Jam's Bruce Foxton on his solo tour, they released this superb catchy little tune on their own Zanzibar label. The single was originally only available at gigs or at Guildford's original Collectors Records Shop. Another track, On To The Wheel, appeared on The Riverside Club compilation album "Laughing All The Way To The Banks". They also recorded two sessions for BBC Radio's John Peel. Shoot! Dispute were... Cathy Lomax (Vocals) Mark Charles (Drums) Steve Smith (Bass, Backing Vocals) Denzil Daniels (Percussion) Scampi (Saxophone) Dylan (Guitar, Backing Vocals)
