A.k.a. Kingpin (2)
Shotgun Messiah began as a Hair / Glam Metal (Heavy Metal) band from Sweden, originally known as Kingpin. They would later relocate to Los Angeles and change their name. The line-up slowly changed, switching and losing members over the course of their 3 full-length albums. Their sound would also evolve into a more hard rock style, and eventually into Alternative Rock / Modern Rock with a Industrial appeal. After their final album, "Violent New Breed," the band line-up (down to just Tim Skold and Harry Cody) parted ways, with Skold notably moving on to play with KMFDM and Marilyn Manson.
