Radiodrone Records (c) 2012 There are all shades of black in a debut album of one of the most advanced Ukrainian dark/drone ambient projects SiJ. "Influence of Darkness": it is a journey to the utmost point of night, an unhurried trip over the industrial landscape which is frozen hard and embraced by metallic cold of city metaphysics. Megalopolis noises, roaring of the wind in the wires, decreasing machines’ inertia in abandoned industrial zones – from separate random sounds SiJ assembles his “Black Square”. Or rather his circle, his disk – the dark sun of a dusky industrial desert. His calendar shows perpetual winter, his watch – total eclipse. Darkness comes from Ukraine…
