Orchestra & Chorus founded in 1953 Folklore Company Sider Voivoda is an amateur folk group, which consists of an orchestra of folk instruments, a choir and a dance group. The three parts interact to create an unforgettable performance of ethnic rhythms, movements and melodies. Our main purpose is to preserve and enrich the traditional art of folklore – music, dances and songs. The repertoire of Folklore Company Sider Voivoda covers folklore works from all Bulgarian ethnographic areas: Mizia, Trakia, Shopsko, Dobroudzha, Pirinsko, Rodopsko. It includes both little chamber plays and big mass stagings.
