Sidiki Diabaté (1923–1996) was a Malian Kora player known throughout West Africa as "the King of the Kora." He is regarded as one of the greatest kora players of all time and is the father of kora players Toumani Diabaté and Mamadou Sidiki Diabaté.He was the first kora player to ever make an album in 1970.
