Ⓒ Columns Musica Oscura 1994. A co-production between Musica Oscura, Columns Classic and WDR (Westdeutscher Rundfunk Köln). A Westdeutscher Rundfunk Köln recording. Recorded: Forde Abbey, Dorset: September 1989 and March 1990. Total time 51'18. "Columns Musica Oscura" is an equal partnership between Columns (Arjen Terpstra) and Anthony Rooley. "The Monteverdi Circle" is a continuing series which explores the composers who influenced Monteverdi and those who were influenced by him. The CD and the 48-page booklet are sheltered in a standard jewel case with black tray. The booklet contains notes in English, French, German and Italian, as well as biographies of the musicians.
