With the exception of Fairmont in Barcelona, most of our beach-bums can only hear the surf in their dreams. Perhaps this makes sense though, as it's a label of dreamers, a label where all/no dreams come true. Enter Sigward, a young and talented producer from the Dutch sea-side. A friend of our darling Mattheis and a co-founder of the outstanding Ama-teur record label, this little dutch boy has his finger deeply inserted in the dyke that is forward-thinking electronic music. There are very few producers that manage to craft releases where every song has a strong direction and focus, hell there are very few producers who can honestly say they've written one great track. Sigward has done all of this and more on Drama In Twilight Town. Each of the four compositions stands on it's own with originality, creativity, thoughtfulness and experimentation. From the hypnotic, slow-burner Grow Inside Up that opens the release, to the relentless insanity that is Re- Fowl, Drama In Twilight Town is a truly accomplished statement. We here at Beachcoma HQ are truly proud to spray his magic all over the face of this world.
