An early hip hop artist from New York. Originally a member of The Light Brothers in the 70’s, Silver Fox went on to form the legendary group Fantasy Three with Charlie Rock and Larry D. He was one of the early rap pioneers from Harlem, NYC and honed his skills growing up in The Grant Projects whilst hanging out with the likes of the Fearless Four, Special K, etc. He established a reputation as a battle rapper, facing-off against the man that would later go on to be known as Kool G. Rap numerous times and also became friends with LL Cool J whom he met while LL was searching for a record deal. Silver Fox is without a doubt one of the unsung heroes of Hip Hop history. From those early days of Hip Hop when he sat in the studio with the likes of the legendary Pumpkin writing ‘It’s Your Rock’, Silver Fox has continued to inspire many MCs, and till this day still represents the Hip Hop culture with the same passion that he had all those years ago.
