Sylvia Nakkach is a Grammy Award nominated composer, singer and multi-instrumentalist based in San Francisco. Her music, often categorized as ambient or new age, blends American and South Asian musical traditions. She is also the founder and director of the Vox Mundi School of the Voice. In 2015 Nakkach shared a Grammy nomination with David Darling for Best New Age Album for In Love And Longing. She was married to Michael Knapp until his death on 2012.
