The second solo album by distinguished musician Silvio Paredes is, as the title suggest a mix of electronica and pop. The seven tracks was developed as instrumental songs and feature musical motives and phrases that has the music emerge, develop, flourish and recede. On a foundation of machine-and-synth rhythms with the slap of a funky, electric bass, the percussive strings of the Chapman Stick and seductive melodies invite us to take some imaginary travels and do some real and solid dancing. In these seven soundtracks for an imaginary film, the highly organic music fuses the digital with the analogue and the electronic with the electrical in a compelling display of funk, rock and hip-hop of the very danceable and most appealing kind: a deliciously meaty robot!
