Musician of Rock
Originally based in Brisbane, Simon Pearlman started his music career as a drummer for Brisbane synth pop act Genshen. He also became a fixture of the live music scene in Brisbane, sitting behind the kit for acts such as Mt. Augustus and The Pits. He then moved out from behind the kit to work on his own songs, as lead singer and guitarist for Brisbane band The Narcotics. Simon is now based in Melbourne and works predominantly on his ever evolving project A Man Called Son, whilst still lending his drumming talents to other Melbourne bands such as Cochlear Kill, Mobilius and Bonkers, a power pop trio. He has also pursued music production with other local Melbourne artists in his own home studio, including Rich Yeah and One Way Radio.
