Simon Styring, aka "Polly" or "Poly Styrene" aka "The Styring" is a Leicester based guitarist/bassist involved in a number of local bands. He first came to light with the Genesis inspired Leicester prog trio Turtle Om, then as an occasional bassist with Shapeshifter, and various projects in collaboration with Chris Conway, "Improv Electronic" events and at the early Quadelectronic sessions.
