Simon Williams (born 1973) in Auckland, New Zealand was the original bassist and backing vocalist for the band Goldfinger. He and vocalist/guitarist John Feldmann formed the band after meeting at a shoe store they worked at. Williams left the band in 1998 and was replaced by Kelly LeMieux.Williams is rumored to currently have a career as a music journalist as well as a new band. He remains friends with the band today.Before forming Goldfinger Simon also played in the American Recording Band "Fudge Factory" and an unsigned LA band "Jagglehead".
