Engineer and producer. Sion Tammes started his career as a sound designer by recording indie bands as a sound engineer and producer in Edinburgh in the 80s. After a stint in London working for a major record label he moved to Sydney Australia where he studied at the Australian Film Television and Radio School, graduating with a Masters degree specialising in sound for film and television. He has worked on films with Gillian Armstrong, Peter Weir and Mike Figgis, as well as on television and radio drama and documentaries. He also designs sound for stage and has previously worked with Y Touring.
