SISTAH NAIS a.k.a. TRISHA was born in Catanzaro, Southern Italy, in the early 90s. She grew up on the streets of a small town near her birthplace. Encouraged by friends and driven by her desire, she broadened her horizons outside the limited context and culture which existed in her town. She became hooked on Hip Hop at the age of 11. After a long period of listening and discovering the international music scene, she decided to take the mic into her own hands and realize what she had envisioned over the years. She recorded her first dubplates for some friends sound systems. Amongst her first recordings published was A TESTA BASSA, garnering great feedback from her audience and followers. While releasing singles, she's always kept humble with feet on the ground and mic in hand at live showcases. She is carrying around her live showcase in which lines up sharply against what is now the system, trying to shake and to reflect the conscience of others as much as possible. She has risen up enhancing her skills and adorning stages throughout Italy, particularly in Calabria, Sicily, Puglia, Basilicata, Lombardia, Lazio and also in France and Germany. She remains faithful to her base, and continually expands her experiences, perspectives and mind. From classic Rap sounds, she embarks on a musical introspective journey built on various experimental and electronic sounds. In December of 2014, her first official project came to life: PSYCHOTRONIK EP, product of six tracks where she collaborates with STONO, DJ SKIZZO, Italian rap legend MAURY B and REDDOG directly from FUNKY PUSHERTZ. After this experience, having always attended the world of free parties, she approached the console and began to give life to the first tekno set, aware of the fact that sometimes the sounds come where the words unfortunately fail. In 2016 she released on vinyl PSYCHOQUAKE 06, the remix of NUOVI LUOGHI contained in the "Psychotronik EP" and produced by GOTEK (TNL), famous producer of the international tekno scene. Simultaneously with the vinyl release, she creates together with some friends, the sound system THE SOUND FARM (TSF), currently changed and called under the name of PSYCHOTRONIK SOUND. She organizes a lot of musical and aggregation events starting from free parties ending up in squats and social centers.
