Michael McDermott and Eric Mallon had been playing and writing together for 7 years when Six Belly Tango was formd in late 1995. They quickly added the Keys of Jason Gregg and the Vocals of Mike Flores. As soon as they had those parts Michael and Eric knew they could convince their old bud, and their former drummer from the legendary supergroup Unseen Vera, Daniel J. to join them once again. It was easy from this point on, songs were pumping out from all members and gigs and evets were played. Soon Jason heard the call of the Rockies and moved out west and Chuck jumped in on guitar to round out the group. Stuff kept happening for 6BT. They opened for Cinderella and The Black Crowes and had a great and loyal local following. They got some cool airplay from the local rock stations and seemed well on their way. The members were like brothers, they partied together, watched each other get married, divorced, win, lose and everything else. Its all good, though, it was fun while it lasted and who knows, maybe 6bt will rise again.
