Learn To Talk recorded Christmas and New Year 1983-1984 at Sunrise Studio, Kirchberg. Track 1-6, recorded at theFestival International de Musique Actuelle de Victoriaville in 1983. The additional material heard on this song is the result of a malfunctioning tape recorder. Part of track 1-7 was recorded in Quebec City and is used by courtesy of the station, with thanks. Track 1-12 & 1-13 recorded 1984 live in Lyon. Track 1-14 recorded 1982 live at 24, Rue Dunois, Paris. Track 1-15 recorded 4th November 1984 live at Illinois State University, Normal (originally released on Passed Normal) The Country Of Blinds recorded December 1985 / January 1986 at Sunrise Studio, Kirchberg. Track 2-2 and the last section of track 2-10 recorded 4th November 1985 live in Reykjavik. Track 2-11, 2-13 & 2-14, place and date unknown, from cassette recorded during European tour, 1985. Track 2-12 originally released on A Classic Guide To No Man's Land. Track 2-15 recorded April 1985 at CBGB, New York (originally released on Hallelujah, Anyway- Remembering Tom Cora). Track 2-16 recorded 1985 at the Isabella, Toronto. Tracks 1-12 to 1-15 and 2-11 to 2-16 were not included on the original LP albums. Remastered and compiled January / May 2005 at Headless Buddha, Oakland.
