Skinner Box band was formed in Athens, Greece in the beginning of 2012 by Vana Rose (vocals), Spyros Mitrokotsas (guitars), Stefanos Manousis (bass, keys) and George Papanastasiou (drums). After some rearrangements in music and form, the band welcomed Nick Zourbakis (guitars) and a new drummer Konstantinos Athanasopoulos. Our music can be described as a mixture of ethereal vocal lines combined with fuzzy alternative –shoegaze guitars, dark bass lines and atmospheric Keys. Our debut E.P. "Life Is Chemistry" was released on 1st March 2013 by Afmusic, Germany. All recordings took place at Artracks studios- Athens by band’s producer Alex Bolpasis. After two years of absence, the band is back with more energy and passion and ready to share new songs. Our first full length album "Alpha Waves" was released on 27th April of 2017. An independent release, in production of Alex Bolpasis and official distribution by Inner Ear. Skinner Box have performed lot of gigs in the most known live stages in Athens as: Gagarin, Six Dogs, Death Disco, AN Club etc. and they have shared the stage with Greek and international artists (Mechanimal, 2L8, GAD, Wonky Doll &The Echo, Electro Vampires, Dead Buildings, Virgin Web, Empty Frame , Kiss the Anus of a black Cat, Andrew King, Der Arbeiter).(Infos are from theyre page)
