Skotwal is a Dutch group. They cover songs and sing in the Westfrisian dialect. Sometimes they translate the lyrics, sometimes they recreate the lyrics just the way they want it. They advertise being a three man duo. Started by the brothers Theo and Wigert Dronkert and later joined by former The Shavers drummer Theo de Jong. Theo Dronkert - vocals, guitar, mouthharp Wigert Dronkert - guitar, vocals, harmonium, mouthharp Theo de Jong - mandolin, vocals, guitar, drums On stage they are joined by: Bart de Wit - drums Joris Thomassen - (standup) bass Roland van Beveren - pedal steel guitar
