Album UK 2009 on Rotorbabe Recordings label
Electronic (Dark Ambient)
Day One is a collection of dark ambient electronics recorded at the Department Of Polyrythmic Experimentation during late summer 2009. As an experiment in longevity, most of the music was improvised. It was felt that a complete lack of structure would help sustain the life of the music and retain its dynamics over time. With that in mind percussion and rhythms are kept to a minimum while treated organic sounds are emphasised throughout the album.
