Compil. 2005 on Auralux Recordings label
Reggae (Reggae, Dancehall)
Studios: Channel One, Compass Point and the Fallout Shelter. Mastered at The Exchange, London. A note on sound restoration: Due to the age and condition of the original source material, there is a certain amount of evident surface and tape noise on some of the tracks. We made a conscious decision not to attempt to digitally remove such minor sonic imperfections, as this would have resulted in a serious reduction in warmth and audio dynamics. The whole album was effectively mastered with valve stages and analogue tape, without the use of computers or other digital technology, resulting, we feel, in a superior sound that is closest to what the producers and artists originally intended. ℗2005 Auralux Recordings Distributed by: EU And Australia: SRD, London Japan CD: Blues Interactions Release title on front sleeve and disc as Sly And Robbies Taxi Sound and as Sly And Robbie's Taxi Sound on the spine.
