The Smuk project is the idea based on the lack of minimalistic house and techno in the Norwegian music scene. At least that's what he thought when he created his first tracks on 'Mekanikk EP'. It seems as he was a bit wrong, if all the wonderful underground related projects which he later learnt to know are counted. To those who know him well, he is known by the name Roger, but his full name is Roger Folke-Olsen. He has now in 2004 reached the age of 24, and has been creating music for no less than eight years. Back then, he started off with old school break beats and hardcore, related to his musical roots from the UK happy hardcore / break beat scene. Since then, his musical taste and experience has changed quite radical. With deeper grooves, melodic, bizarre space fusion and intergalactic breakbeats, he brings you the sound of tomorrow.
