Last year SOULTANS enjoyed a lightning debut with their single Can`t Take My Hands Off You. The American-British trio immediately took the European hit charts by storm. As for the airplay charts, the debut title from the congenial three was among the six most often played songs. By the end of the year, SOULTANS were busily preparing to strike a second time: their version of the Marvin Gaye classic I Heard It Through The Grapevine was played more often on the radio than the original! Love, Sweat & Tears is the name of SOULTANS` newly released album. Of course the album contains the first two hits, as well as the new single Every Little Move. Three of the songs on the album are from the pen of Marvin Broadie: the quiet Change Your Mind, the ballad Cross My Heart as well as the up-beat title Can You Feel Love. Most of the dance songs were written by the well-known and successful duo Dee Dee Haligan and Junior Torello. The balanced mix on the album is rounded out with two modern cover versions of famous pop classics. The First Cut Is The Deepest (by Cat Stevens) and the disco hit Jive Talking by the Bee Gees. Marvin: First & always my love and thanks to Sue, my Sweet Pea and Mitzi: you two have made this year great and always worth coming home to: My "Soul" mates, Femi and Marco, did we do it or what! Marcello, a great producer, programmer and friend. The long hard hours we spent in the studio - you at all the controis and me in front of "Marvin`s Mic" have been well worth it. Thanks Dude! Halligan and Torello - from Haddaway to Soultans to great music, the magic never ends! Henning, you are surely one of the best engineers in the business: the great songs speak for themselves! You and Christopher, with his great keyboard work, really know now to make the songs come alive; I look forward to the next album. RIK, keep the faith man; you`ve given me enough to last a life time - I love you man! Linda, thanks for all the support, you`re a princess! Marcus, Susanne, Billy and Silvia (my Coco-Puffs), you`re the smallest, bestest, hardest working team in the business. Thanks for supporting me: you guys are awesome! To all our fans and friends, A GREAT BIG THANK YOU!!! Femi: To my parents, my children "Peace and love to you all" and to my friends, you all know who you are. Thank you for supporting me, for standing beside me. To MS Management and to Coconut Records: Thanks for making this dream a reality. My last word: PEACE AND LOVE TO ALL! Marco: Mel Higgs for your amazing help and advice. I am truly grateful. My manager Tony Barry for looking after me. Thank you. Gio Laporta and George the cat (he`s a good cat) for supporting me as usual ... Dom Cusenza and Piero Realmuto, my best buddies... Victoria Hammond for believing in me, and of course Marvin, Femi and everyone at Coconut Records. A BIG THANK YOU!!!
