"A compilation of live-tracks and rare recordings, performed by Spasmodique between '86 and '91. Co-starring: Umberto di Bosso e Compadres, Beatrice v/d Poel, Simon S. Mussenoog and others." Track 1 recorded live at Bibelot (Dordrecht) during 'The Howling Tour' jan/feb'88 Track 2 recorded on a 4-track recorded at The Fort (Rotterdam) okt'89 Track 3 recorded at The Via Ritmo Studio (Rotterdam) nov'89 Tracks 4, 5, 12 and 13 recorded during the Haven sessions at The Fort (Rotterdam) may'90 Track 6 in admiration of the great Howlin' Wolf at Het Bolwerk (Sneek), july'87 Track 7 ancient song, recorded live at The Kikker (Utrecht) okt'89 during a concert consisting of early material (many never recorded) and covers; the occasion took place under the name Men Overboard Track 8 recorded at The Fort in the autumn of '86 as part of the opera All and More Track 9 same as 8. screaming females were taped from several B-movies; the opera was never released or performed in its original form, several songs later showed up on the album North Tracks 10 and 11 recorded live at Metropodium (Hengelo) june'90 Track 14 recorded at The Melkweg (Amsterdam) feb'88; after the concert at Sneek (see 6.) Spasmodique and Umerto [sic] di Bosso e Compadres did a mutual tour, calling themselves The Howling Track 15 recorded live at Oosterpoort (Groningen) jan'87 by VARA Radio Track 16 recorded on 4-track recorder at The Fort april'91; guitars by Hans Brussee (rhythm) and Niek den Brave (lead) who joined the band after Arjo left in july'90 Track 17 same as 16. both guitarplayers left shortly after these recordings, to be succeeded by Raymond Gerrits on leadguitar (with Mark back on rhythm) Made in Austria. Track 16 in booklet as listed, on back as "Excerpt From Northernbridge"
