'In My Neighborhood' (01) uses a sample of "Reach For It" by George Duke. 'Peace To My Nine' (06) samples a portion of "One Nation Under A Groove" by George Clinton. George Clinton's comment regarding Spice 1 : "Because Of Our Beliefs expressed in 'One Nation Under A Groove' it would be hypocritical to deny use of the sample ,but we are not in agreement with the thoughts and ideology expressed in 'Peace To My Nine'." 'Welcome To The City' (08) uses samples of "Inner City Blues"by Marvin Gaye and "No Ones Gonna Love You" by SOS Band.
