Spiders Factory is a Belgian band formed in 1972 in Aalst (Belgium). They only made one single I Love Her And I Need Her / Pilot Song. They did a lot of gigs in the neighbourhood of Aalst and they played also in Brussels and Leuven. Still one of the most intriguing 45s to come out of Belgium. Truly amazing that this was only released in 1974, as you'd swear it to be circa 1967 or so. A moody 2-sider characterised by haunting vocals & sparse fuzz guitar that adds a psychedelic edge to it. The low-budget recording gives it extra charm. Recorded at Just Born, Mere (nowadays Erpe-Mere) Belgium. Members: Fred(dy) De Bom (nickname: Fogerty) (+): Vocals and Rythm Guitar. Paul De Groot (Lead Guitar); Etienne Godefroid (drums); Gentil Van Hoorebeke (organ); Mis-spelled on the record as Moorebeke
