Splatterhouse, real name Jon Jon Pilapil, began mixing in 1999, at a time when US hardhouse was coming to, what many thought, its end. In order to fuel the fire he started with mixing he taught himself to produce, and after learning the ropes he was unleashing his sonic style upon the underground in 2001. Soon his talent reached the ears of those with similar agendas such as DJ Tronic (Resistance Recordings CA) and Tom Sawyer (Airplane Clique, OH). Airplane Clique Hard Corps, based out of Cincinnati, OH became his first major DJ affiliation and home of his debut vinyl release. Moving forward into 2005, Splatterhouse's goal is to keep the US hardhouse sound alive and push it even further. Now with his unique headstrong style gaining momentum among listeners with each performance, big things await Splatterhouse and his label - Domestic Disturbance.
