Anyways, we're all just good friends from the same town, who love creating and listenting to all kinds of diverse shit. Split/Shade was formed about two years ago after seperate failures with previous bands. We finally got together after a long period of 'maybes' and 'I don't knows' and then we just seemed to clique instantly and we've been making kick ass music to share with you all, ever since. Everyone always ask what split/shade is supposed to mean...well it can mean many things or it can just be a name, but I guess it can relate to how we always really try to keep things diverse and interesting, especially for our fans. By trying to mix things up produce a wide range of sounds we hope we can give a lot of different feeling to our sound. Split/Shade was formed in the late 90s in the suburbs of Illinois. They had tons of shows. A lot of demos were made. This original disc comes with a front card and back cover with tracklist. Jason and Tom are currently in a band called Arch Heretic
