David Combs was born on August 13, 1983 in Takoma Park, Maryland, USA. He is a member of Washington, D.C.-based punk-pop band, The Max Levine Ensemble and has also released a solo acoustic album on Plan-It-X Records in 2005 entitled, "I Love You, This Is A Robbery". He has also played guitar and keyboards and sang in the now-defunct Lava Lava, a DC based acoustic/techno duo with Amina Althea.
