This recording was made using real human beings singing live with real voices, playing real instruments. All instruments were recorded acoustically. Drums were recorded live using three microphones with no gating. You can actually hear the squeaking of the Speed-King foot pedal on the old Ludwig bass-drum. No midi, sampled instruments, digital pitch correction, timing correction, comping, virtual tracks, or computer editing or fixing of any kind was used in the making of this CD. This work is part of a 16-CD set organized and curated for Cracker Barrel Old Country Store® by the National Council for the Traditional Arts (NCTA), a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to the presentation and documentation of folk and traditional arts in the United States.
