A mid-1960's garage-country-psych rock band from Belleville, Illinois, USA. The group recorded a couple of singles under the name of The Unknowns (9) before changing the name of the group to Spur (5). The group released a lone LP as Spur (5) in 1968, Spur of the Moment. In 1969 the group provided musical accompaniment to Father Pat Berkery on his celebrated Christian mind-expanding spoken word album entitled "Prayers for a Noonday Church."
