Singer of R&B/Soul
Stage-named "Lx-e@r", born in 1970 in Paris (France), french multi-instrumentalist musician, singer, songwriter, composer, sound engineer & producer. Active drummer-singer during the past 40 years, owner & producer at Lx Mobile Studio in Touraine (37). Stéphane began to play drums and percussions at 7. During childhood, he first practised at home before reaching other musicians when he was 15. Joining the Conservatoire Municipal of Morsang-sur-Orge (Essonne, France) in 1986, he then started to play in lots of bands, with no particular preference for one genre. In 1990, he entered the studio of "Association 21 Juin" in Viry-Châtillon (Essonne, France) as a musician first, but initiated with 6 friends the professional development of the studio, of which he's been in charge for 10 years. Multiplying collaborations in many bands, he used to play a lot while working in logistics and learning techniques in audio engineering at the same time. Joining the "Fanfare des d'où? dingues" in 1996 for the next 8 years was the starting point for professional transition. While playing drums and singing in many bands, he entered the E.S.R.A (Ecole Supérieure de Réalisation Audiovisuelle, Paris, France) in 2001, and worked after graduation as sound engineer in 4 films before 6 years in T.V.S.-Titra Films as an audiovisual auditor and sound assistant. He quited in 2010 and moved to Tours, where he installed his own recording studio activities. Drummer and singer in dozens of bands from 1991, Stéphane also wrote his own music and lyrics, as for others. His influences are numerous and eclectic, including western and eastern music from Europe, USA, Africa, South America and India. He's developped his own methods in acousmatic and ear training, and gave some english lessons using music for college students. He's been producing sound design creations as well for his own projects and for other artists.
