Staatliches Rundfunkkomitee

The Staatliches Rundfunkkomitee (SRK) or Staatliches Komitee für Rundfunk (StKfR) was founded on 15. September 1952 in East Berlin, following the Sowiet model it became the executive committee of the Rundfunk Der DDR (Radio of the German Democratic Republic) and factually made the broadcaster a political branch of the state.
