*2003 US, New York City
Alternative
Stackers started out in 2004 in New York City by Japanese natives Shun, Jun, and Tac. Within a year being together, the band released OneWayStreetPunk EP and played a number of shows around the tri-state and New England areas. In Summer 2005, the band released their first full-length, On The Road With Stackers, on Danger Zone Records and went on a full USA tour. The tour ended when Tac was taken into border patrol custody by guards on an interstate in Texas and was deported back to Japan. In early 2006, the band decided to do a few last shows (recruiting a friend on drums) then relocate to Japan. In the fall of 2006, Shun and Jun reunited with Tac and became a band again. Stackers are now based out of Tokyo, Japan.
