He earned a bachelor’s degree in piano performance from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, and a master’s degree in piano pedagogy and literature at the University of Texas in Austin. In a typical year, he performs more than twenty different full-length programs. His chamber repertoire alone includes almost five hundred works, from pieces for solo instrument and piano, to works for multiple pianos with or without orchestra, piano trios, quartets, quintets, and mixed ensembles. Vocal selections are too numerous to count.
