Canadian producer-songwriter, founder of labels Tamarac Records and Fingerprint (5), co-founder of the Red Leaf label and a Canadian Songwriters Hall of Famer. Owner of publishing companies Bigland Music, Colonel Walt Music and Svengali Music. Longtime partner of RPM Magazine founder and editor Walter Grealis, Klees was heavily involved with the magazine from its inception and was responsible for its design and layout at the start, through his design company Groovyart, co-founded with Bill Armstrong. Klees was the designer of the MAPL icon indicating the level of Canadian Content on Canadian releases.
