Stan R. Krause

Owner of the Catamount label and Stan's Square Records in Jersey City, NJ. Catamount was his main showcase for the few dozen doo wop, soul, and hiphop records he produced from the 1960s-1990s. His shop opened in Jersey City, NJ on John F. Kennedy Blvd near Journal Square in 1965, moved to Bergen Ave near McGinley Square in 1978 and was in business for over 50 years until Stan's death in 2016. May 16, 1942 - May 20, 2016
