Genda (Stanislav Genadiev) is a professional artist with an extensive experience in contemporary dance performance and production. Having performed throughout Europe with the dance companies Linga and Alias, he later went on to work independently as a choreographer and a co-founder of the art collective Kinesthetic Project with which he co-produced a number of pieces that were received with acclaim by the regional audience as well as on several international art festivals. He developed a very distinct style which, through carefully selected and minimalistic movements of the human body, draws analogies to natural and social processes and brings the audience to altered states of consciousness. This artistic aesthetic is quite apparent in Gendas work also as a music producer, where he concentrates on evolving a simple idea and taking it through a range of phases of deconstruction. Stylistically, he draws inspiration from UK bass music and broken beat, and also from classic jazz and fusion. In his pieces he combines sampled and electronic instrumentation as well as a range of field recorded sounds.
