Stanislav Malyshev (b. 1980) is a Russian violinist. He was born in Sverdlovsk (now Yekaterinburg) and graduated from the Moscow Conservatory after studying with Igor Frolov (violin) and Nina Kogan (chamber ensemble). Malyshev is a laureate and winner of various international competitions, including Nariman Sabitov contest (2002), Nikolai Rubinstein Competition (2006), and Dmitri Shostakovich Competition (2008). Since 2008, Stanislav Malyshev is a soloist of the New Music Studio Ensemble, and with the group he premiered violin concerts by György Ligeti and Kaija Saariaho in Russia, and performed various rare and little-known works, such as an Alban Berg chamber concerto for violin and piano or Concert No. 3 by Alfred Schnittke. Stanislav had been performing with Musica Viva Chamber Orchestra, Globalis, Opera Orchestra of Nice and the Baku Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. He gave recitals at Konzerthaus Berlin, Grand Hall Of The Moscow Conservatoire and other prestigious venues, and appeared on stage with such conductors as Felix Korobov, Alexander Rudin, Igor Dronov, and Leonid Nikolaev. In 2010, Stanislav Malyshev and Alexei Lubimov premiered Alban Berg's opera Wozzeck for piano and string quartet. The artist had been collaborating closely with various contemporary composers, including Krzysztof Penderecki, Sergei Slonimsky, Vladimir Tarnopolski, François Paris, and Valentin Silvestrov.
