Composer of Electronic and Classical
Stanley Haynes is a British electronic music composer. In 1979 he worked at the Computer Department at IRCAM, where on the DEC PDP-10 computer with MUSIC 5 system he realized one of the earliest attempts to simulate all functions of the conventional sound studio on a digital computer. Haynes composed Pyramids for piano & tape in 1977, which was revised in 1981 as Prisms.
