Band,
Rock
Rock band from Atlanta, GA. Their song, "Disco Rock" charted in January 1977 and even won a Grammy. They were immediately signed to Hottrax Records, which was managed by the band's bass player, Aleck Janoulis. During their career, they released one album, "Nockum Nekkid", which was just them performing live in Japan. They split sometime in the '80s after creating two exclusive tracks for the album, "Test Specimens Vol. 1", a compilation album that mostly featured Hottrax Records' hottest acts, but guitarist Nick Perugini, bassist Aleck Janoulis, and drummer Butch "Jivetalk" Cooper went on to join the band, Secret Lover (4), also signed by Hottrax. While Starfoxx were considered disbanded, many years later, "Hot 2 Trot", a previously unreleased album, had surfaced. It featured studio versions of most of the tracks from the "Nockum Nekkid" album, along with some new tunes.
