Starky were a band from Sydney, Australia, formed in 1998 from the ashes of Sydney pop band Pennidreadful who released a single and two EPs (Money For Woolen Socks and The Ping Pong Delegate) on the Phantom Records label. The band consisted of Beau Cassidy (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Nick Neal (bass and spoons), and Jonny Wilson (guitar).Their first single, "Rock 'n' Roll is the Devils Music" was released in 1999 by Phantom Records, earned the title "Best New Talent" from Channel V, and won a $50,000 video clip.
