Statsradiofoniens Pigekor was the name from 1938 to 1959 of the girls choir of Den Danske Statsradiofoni, the Danish national broadcasting corporation. The choir was established from the older children's choir Statsradiofoniens Lille Børnekor as a logical parallel to the boys choir, Statsradiofoniens Drengekor. The choir debuted on nationwide radio on 16 Oktober 1938 conducted by Lis Jacobsen that remained their principal conductor until 1961. In 1959 the orchestra changed name to Danmarks Radios Pigekor.
