A.k.a. Stavros Stavros (13)
Stavros (AKA Stavros Adamantios Tsarouhas) is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer and DJ – born and raised on the island of Chios, Greece but now based in NYC. At age 5, his father introduced him to his first keyboard, by 11 he received his first diploma in musical proficiency and at 12 he was studying classical piano, musical theory and harmony at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory in Athens, Greece. By the time he reached his teen years, Stavros was playing multiple instruments (including the guitar, bass and drums) while concertedly working on his vocals. It wasn’t long before he was performing with two rock bands (Blackout & LiE). Most recently, he has been the lead lyricist, vocalist & producer for the melodic death metal band Blame Your God – with which he toured around Greece, building a loyal following in the Greek underground scene. After receiving his diploma from the Institute of Audio Research in NYC, Stavros began focusing on music production & composition. He has worked with a variety of musicians, writers and artists – producing hits across a variety of genres, working with the likes of singer/rapper Jared Evan, singer/actress Elle Winter and EDM vocalist Ben Alessi, while also being involved in projects with Kelly Rowland, Olly Murs and Tori Kelly. He has been also working on projects for Republic, RCA, Interscope and Island Records and has a co-production due for release soon with Mossel ft. Jeffrey Miller. In 2017, Stavros signed a Publishing Deal with Big House Co. as an Artist, Songwriter and Producer. He has independently released two tracks this year, one of which was a remix for Galantis (‘Hunter’) and reached #1 on the Hype Machine remix chart and in his first quarter of professional songwriting, he's produced and landed more than a dozen song cuts, including for two major A-lister projects.
