Swiss filmmaker, photographer, visual artist and bass guitarist. Stefan Hugentobler was born 1965 in Lucerne/Switzerland and studied first specialised education. Since 1983, he started his artistic activities in the fields of music and painting. Among the numerous activities, it included the Painting-Studies in Morocco (1999) and Barcelona (2001). He is a also a member of the renowned artists-group, “El Port”. Since 2004, Stefan has always been actively involved in numerous videoworks, documentary and experimential collaborations. In addition, he has also been working on numerous aritistic collaboration with Anita Vozza under the pseudonyms , “toll&kirsche” since 2010 onwards. Stefan Hugentobler is a polyvalent artist by conviction. He works today in the fields of Video, Object, Painting, Music and Documentary-Film.
