Swedish composer and lyric writer born Mars 20, 1896 in Ljusdal. Wrote his first song "O själ, du som vandrar din väg framåt" in 1909 when he was in the Swedish Salvation Army as a child. He produced over 300 songs and wrote the music to over 200 of them. Westling died June 25 1961. Used the aliases Olof Berg, Per Hjort, Stefan Kamensky, Wesstergaard and Gunnar Dahl.
